CAMERA EQUIPMENT RENTALS, TIMESLICE RIG, AERIAL CINEMATOGRAPHY AND MOVING CAMERA PLATFORMS
Crew Working at Timeslice Cinematography are required to have the following certification and documentation:
(Applicable to all Camera Operators, Production Assistants, RPA Pilots and Air Safety Officers)
1. Be a member of a Medical Aid or have a Hospital Plan in place. 2. Valid Driver's License 3. Back Ground Check (you can book and make an appointment here http://www.emps.co.za/ - at applicant's cost) 4. Aviation Security Awareness Course (Contact David at [email protected] / 082 308 0169 - at applicant's cost) 5. Dangerous Goods Training (at applicant's cost)
On completion of the training please email the student report. We do not require the actual certificate.

Jonathan has been involved in the motion picture industry for over 20 years specializing in 35mm special effects as well as special effects solutions for all types of cameras. Using innovative camera techniques lead to the development of Timeslice Cinematography's trackless camera systems in order to achieve high quality, fast and reliable results of an international standard.
Stefan van Zyl
Flight Operations Manager Remote Aircraft Pilot. Equity Partner with Timeslice
Having been flying RC Helicopters and Fixed Wing Aircraft for over 20 years, and repeatedly ranked in SA's top 20 for 3D flying. Stefan has been a member of the Timeslice Aerial Crew for three 3 years and specialises in highly technical shots and delivers consistent, high end results. Stefan is the holder of a SACAA Remote Pilot License.
VR Stitching and Media
Nicole is an accredited Kolor Level 3 VR Stitcher and trainer. Having joined the team 5 years ago, Nikki has a career background in media, creative arts and fashion photography. Nikki has a BA (Fine Arts) Hons degree from UP majoring in film media and visual communications.

John joined our team a year ago and his previous 40 years of aviation
experience as a pilot, instructor and CAA regulations liaison has proved
invaluable in leading our drone teams' safe operation and Part 101
Andrew is the holder of an RPL and has been flying drones in exotic
locations for a number of years. He has recently become a member of the
Timeslice Team. Welcome!
Marc is the holder of an RPL and has flown RC aircraft for over 20 years
including precision flying and is well respected graphic artist..
Luke van Rensburg
Stunt Driver, Camera and Gimbal
Luke recently joined the team as a stunt driver for Thor, our all terrain tracking vehicle. Luke is an experienced rally driver and has a background in cinematography.
Lourens van Rensburg
Stunt Driver, Camera
Lourens recently joined the team as a stunt driver for Thor, our all terrain tracking vehicle. Lourens is a seasoned cinematographer as well as an experienced rally driver who most recently, together with Nina won the 2015 Western Province Rally.
